How long can a bondsman look for you?
A bondsman will typically look for you for 180 days. If they cannot find you, you will likely incur new charges for evading law enforcement and have a warrant out for your arrest. The bondsman can also sue the cosigner for the total amount of the bail they posted on your behalf. So even if a bondsman cannot find you, there are still significant consequences for you and the cosigner.
